Why does it have to be a secret?

Through the past almost 20 years I have lost 6 babies all in the first trimester. 4 I had to have surgery to remove the fetus\ cells. One of them I thought I was going to die I bled so much before surgery. None of the doctors really seemed to want to find out why till my 5th and 6 the one but now at 38 with health problems we decided to just have a hysterectomy and adopt if we really wanted children after we get married. No one wants to talk about it and I've even been criticized for telling people I have 'difficulties'. Why does it have to be a secret? People need to know this happens a lot you just don't hear about it.
